"Bustier?! It's a bra with sequins!

Bustier... it looks like a busti-ca-ca!"

I took the classic Heart Popper from Daisy Makes and flipped it to create Selena Quintanilla's famous glittery stage look!

Here is how this iconic flip came together:

Flip & Dip: Popped the heart shape, Flipped the heart, and dipped it into a skin tone base.

Paint Details: Used Poppy Paint to paint on the details and straps!

Working on my first test batch of my Lemon Bar cake pop dough, and during the kneading... I spotted something that instantly made me stop in my tracks!

At first, I thought adding the lemon juice to the wet mix had somehow "cooked" a piece of the egg in the batter. But my friend schooled me on some egg anatomy!

Turns out that little white stringy piece is actually the chalaza (or the egg nerve/anchor)! A lot of bakers actually strain or remove it before mixing because if you don't, it can sometimes bake right into your cakes or treats intact

You live and you learn every single day in the kitchen!
