In Berwick, Maine on July 11th, the Maine Lavender Festival takes place…and you won’t find a more stunning event anywhere in the state all year long! Held at Lavender Hill Farm on July 11th and 12th, 2026, this third annual festival runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days and turns a small family farm into a dreamy summer gathering filled with lavender, sheep, Christmas trees, music, food, local makers, and hands-on activities.
The centerpiece is the farm’s LavYrinth, a walkable triple-spiral lavender path on the hillside, with three entrances winding through rows of lavender toward one shared middle. The farm’s hillside lavender labyrinth debuted in 2025 with more than 1,000 newly planted lavender plants, so by festival time it should be even prettier and fuller for photos, slow walks, and soaking in the scent of the fields. Guests can cut their own fresh lavender bouquet for $20 after checking in at the harvest station, where scissors and rubber bands are provided. There will also be $20 flower crown making, giving visitors a chance to create their own crown with lavender and other blooms right there on the farm.
The festival also brings lavender lemonade, ice cream, food truck specials, and a lavender cook-off with baked goods, drinks, soups, and other creative entries. Live music is planned both days, along with farm tours, sheep shearing, fiber spinners, a blacksmith, craft vendors, and a community mural. Kids will have plenty to enjoy too, including face painting, play areas, children’s music, fairy costumes, and hands-on fun. Lavender Hill Farm grows lavender, Christmas trees, and sheep using sustainable and regenerative farming practices, making the whole event feel like a true Maine farm day wrapped in summer color.
