Finerty's Full Moon Farm is coming up on that time of year again. It's shearing time. Our date this year is Monday, May 25th. Yes, that's Memorial Day. Yes, Katie and Matt are coming on a holiday. To us fiber/farm people, holidays are luxuries. We'll be working any way!
Well, after the encounter with the porcupines last Thursday, Boon is absolutely fine, Koko isn't particularly happy but she looks good (considering) , and Willie still has part of a quill in a pad in his right front foot. He's still limping a lot. Yesterday he let me look closely at it (finally). Can't seem to talk him into soaking it in Epsom salts, but I'll think of something.
