Bring your child to the Dave Rochleau Pumpkin Decorating event at the Algona VFW on October 29th from 9 am to 11 am. Kids receive a free pumpkin and material to decorate their pumpkin. It's a great family event.

Just did up the melon that was in my box for this week. OMG!!! I have to put it away, because we kept picking at it! It is SO GOOD!

Hi from Denver!
Through a state agricultural grant, we are going to be able to purchase some local produce, eggs, and meat. Our first bounty of squash, tomatoes, and onions came from Bode Farm in Algona. We are excited to make some homemade spaghetti sauce to use with the spaghetti squash.
🍁🎃 The autumn season is on its way and now is the time to do your fall decorating! We have a great selection of our locally grown mums available in several colors and sizes, as well as an amazing assortment of freshly picked pumpkins and gourds from our friends at Bode Farm in Algona. Wow!! The lettuce is beautiful! I have it washed, dried and in the fridge. It keeps so much better when you do this. I have spinach from the first basket, still good to use! I get to tell my grandsons, that I used the salad spinner for what it was made for! They play with it all the time! If anyone wants to know how I store it, just let me know. Thanks!!

But to provide the full experience of their newly-built, combination home and vegetable packhouse, Beany Bode and Joanne Roepke Bode of Bode’s Moonlight Gardens graciously led the group through the packhouse and into their home.
