We love how this simple yet elegant South Texas landscape turned out. 🌿

The Pride of Barbados (Caesalpinia pulcherrima) can brighten anyone’s day with its fiery ombré blooms of red, orange and yellow. Although it isn’t native to South Texas, it sure acts like it should be! It absolutely thrives in our 100°+ heat, loves the sun and gives us months and months of incredible color.

Pride of Barbados is native to tropical America and the Caribbean—not specifically the island of Barbados, despite its name. And one of my favorite things about this plant is that it really doesn’t need much help from humans. It produces seed pods and very happily drops its own seeds, resulting in lots and LOTS of little volunteer seedlings.

That is a blessing when you want more—or want to share them with friends—and a little bit of a curse when you don’t. 😂 Those babies still need to be pulled or relocated to adhere to the original landscape design and keep everything looking intentional and healthy.

The striking blue-gray plant mixed in is the infamous American Agave (Agave americana), another xeriscape superstar that appreciates minimal interference from humans.

And here’s the fascinating part about agaves: they spend years storing up energy for one spectacular bloom. Eventually, they send an enormous flower stalk into the sky, bloom ONE time…and then the mother plant dies. But before she goes, she has already started the next generation, leaving behind her babies—appropriately called “pups.”

Beautiful plants. Minimal water. Minimal fuss.

South Texas landscaping at its finest. 🌵☀️

Gorgeous Copper Bar!

This was a first for us—and in case you want one, just know that actually welding copper is a whole different animal than brazing it. It’s an extremely specialized skill, and finding a welder with the experience to do it and do it beautifully is no easy feat.

Here’s to all the parties she is going to host! 🎉🍻🍸🥂🍹

Also fun fact: The most amazing copper cleaner is Bar Keeper’s Friend, way more magical than lemons or limes. It works amazing on stainless steel as well.

Think I might become a real Annie Oakley if I had a shooting range like this one we built. Some of our boys went shooting with one of our suppliers the other day and it’s safe to say we’re all a little rusty. Been awhile since we’ve practiced our precision.

Success doesn’t happen all at once. It’s built day by day, choice by choice, long before anyone notices the results. Keep Building.

The weather hasn’t been making things easy lately, but that hasn’t slowed us down one bit 💪🌧️➡️🌱
Between the muddy conditions and unpredictable skies, the crew still showed up ready to work and got the grass laid down.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ outstanding job and big Thank you Coyote Auto Detailing! Until I turned onto this dirt road it looked like I just picked it up brand new from the dealership. I spilled a gallon of paint on the floor board and the recent rains had my truck pretty wrecked.

Thank you, we will be back!!!❤️
