Congratulations Jordan and Rueben!

These two tied the knot last night at the beautiful 1899 Farmhouse, Wedding & Event Venue. The brides vision definitely came to life with the springy pastel shades, flowers, lace, and candle light spread throughout the wedding. Her groom (who happens to be my brother-in-law) only had one request in the wedding...he wanted an Xbox cake :)
That sounds like a pretty good wedding gift idea if you ask me! I have a love/hate relationship with the Xbox as all the boys in this family (my husband included) have spent countless hours gaming away. However, I was more than happy to make this edible version for Rueben's grooms cake!

Chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream, covered in fondant, details all hand cut from fondant. Please ignore my untrimmed cake board, I promise it was trimmed in ribbon by the time it was set out for display at the wedding ;)

Welcome Baby Jett!

This order was made for a baby shower in honor of soon-to-arrive Jett and his beautiful momma! From what I hear, they're a football lovin' family (a standard in Texas), and what better says "boy" than a sports theme! This momma-to-be has thrown some killer showers for her friends, so I was honored to be able to provide the sweets for her day in the spotlight!

Until further notice, I will not be accepting any orders over the next few months. If you have already booked a date with me, have no fear, your order is still safe ;) I will be completing orders I have already committed to! As much as I love creating cakes for all of you, this girl needs a vacation and time to reset. I will be posting some personal creations from time to time so continue to stay tuned! Miss Katie turned 18, and her sweet momma celebrated it by showering her with 18 of her favorite things! Her mom fell in love with this rose design from a previous cake I had done and requested for it to be done in Tiffany blue with pearls. Check and check!

Welcome Baby Elleigh!

I had the honor of making this baby girl's gender reveal cake a few months ago, and this weekend I was given the opportunity to make these lovelies for the baby shower in honor of this soon-to-arrive princess and her sweet momma! Design was based off the invitation and her nursery theme. Her mama has a little thing for giraffe print, and it translates so well into an adorable nursery theme!

Happy Birthday Kaden!

This little guy is turning two, and is a HUGE Elmo fan. I've also been informed he might getting an Elmo guitar, so what better to go along with that than a rockstar Elmo cake!

To give you a little background about Kaden, he has Osteogenesis Imperfecta Type 3. This baby has endured more broken bones in his two short years than most of us will in our lifetime. Yet he has the biggest personality and always is smiling. Seriously, he is SO stinkin' cute, it's mind boggling!

If you haven’t been seeing our posts in your newsfeed, make sure that option is selected under the “Like” icon. Happy one year anniversary Duncan!

This cake was done for my husband's co-worker and friend as he celebrated his one year anniversary with the McKinney Fire Department.

Duncan is a self proclaimed "chocoholic" so the cake and cupcakes are chocolate with chocolate buttercream. He was more than happy to divert from his normal clean eating habits to indulge in some chocolatey goodness ;)

This cake was done for a baby shower in honor of Baby Cade's impending arrival and for his beautiful mother (who just happens to be my cousin!). Cade makes #4 for this momma! Can't wait to meet you little guy!

Cake design was inspired by Baby Cade's nursery. White Chocolate cake with dreamsicle filling. Frosted in buttercream with fondant accents.
