We’re back with another fabulous vendor! Please give a warm welcome to family lamb!

The Brunkows take great pride in being stewards of the land and shepherds to their sheep. The lamb they sell you is the same lamb they put on their own dining room table. They practice regenerative agriculture and low stress livestock handling. It is their belief that a cropping system should contain multiple species of plants and include livestock grazing. They are also blessed to be in the Flint Hills and have the greatest native warm season grazing in the world.

Highland Vineyards will also be sharing during our culinary micro demos. Scott will be sharing about Kansas wine making and what type of grapes from Kansas make the best wine.

Highland Vineyards and Winery is the business side of the Highland Community College Viticulture and Enology Program, which offers a certificate program in grape growing and winemaking. The winery is located in Wamego, KS, inside a business incubator called 456 Wineries. The incubator is specifically designed to help wineries get started and has successfully assisted six wineries since its opening in 2019. It is the only incubator for wineries east of the Rocky Mountains! 456 Wineries offers live music and sip-and-shop events, as well as both indoor and outdoor spaces for private events.
