I like being able to check on the Fluffy Butt Hut whenever I want. It's fun watching the little happy fluff balls buzz around their brooder and to listen to the happy little peeps. 🐥🐣

There are more hatching this weekend as well. 👍🏻😁

The brown leghorns come from white eggs and the Wellsummers come out of brown speckled eggs. This little one is the first Wellsummer of the year for us. 🐣🎂🥳

Both types of chicks have what I call the Chipmunk pattern and in my opinion are hard to tell apart until they get older so I'll be keeping them in separate brooders or putting little tags on their ankles to make sure I can tell the difference. 🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥

Cleaning out the fluffy butt hut to make room for brooders. Would someone want this bird cage?

$150 takes it. Otherwise I'll just probably keep just storing it somewhere because it's worth more.

Chicks are hatching on my Birthday! 🐣🥳🎂

First chick of the year is a little Brown Leghorn. More are still pipping and hatching. Just took a quick pic before placing this one back in the incubator to finish drying off.

The Brown Leghorn and Welsummers hatching this weekend are probably all accounted for but we do have others incubating that will be available soon. These come from my Dad's flock so if you are interested in either breed of chicks I'll put in a request for more eggs.

We also have Easter Eggers in the incubator and some Polish and some mixed flock chickens and bantams.

Hopefully some Ringneck Pheasants, Peacocks and Turkeys this summer as well. Stay tuned for updates and availability.

We plan to start up the incubators/start our hatching season Mid March and will probably have plants for sale this Spring and Summer as well. We also plan to share facts and tidbits about the animals in our care.

We also still take in unwanted birds/some other animals and help find them new homes if they don't find a home here.

The more followers we have the more people see our content and we can monetize the page. All proceeds would go towards the upkeep of our flock. So please help our flock grow and share with our local area.
