I want to thank everyone who came to the LLS Gala last night and for those who supported my Man of the Year campaign. While we didn't win ( 2nd place) I was able to raise a lot of money to help fight and support research to find a cute to blood cancer. As a group, the seven man/women of the year candidates raised over $375,000 during the 10 week campaign. This is completely due to all of those who supported the candidates campaigns. Thank you again to all for your support!!!

LLS Grand Finale Auction Items are now LIVE and silent auction items are open for bid!!! If you're out of state or can't make the Gala, you can still bid ( and win) auction items. The auction will be open until Saturday night before the announcement of the Man/ Woman of the year winners. Registration instructions are below:

How to Register in Advance

Fill out the information, accept the terms and conditions and put in your credit card information.
You will receive a text message from 684-94. Respond with YES to receive your outbid notifications. You will receive one more message and you are good to bid.

The man-cathlon is now officially complete and the Manliest of Men have been crowned and awarded their grand prizes. 1st place and the Manliest of Men is Matt Macri (competed is 4 events, winning 2 and 2nd in 2) 2nd place is Tim Lowe (competed in five events: 1st in 2, 3rd in one) and third place is Mike Remer (competing in 5 events: (1st in 1, 2nd in 1, 3rd in 2). The day of the feats of strength proved to be the defining events in crowning the champion.

Congratulations also go to Steve Myers with skunk river restoration for winning the Run for the Roses Road Rally!
Congratulations to Hal Wilson for winning the Man-cathlon BBQ Contest hosted by Jethro's. And Congratulations to Brandon Henkels for winning the beard growing contest sponsored by Signature Male (with an amazing entry if I must say).

Most of all, I want to say thank you to everyone that participated, sponsored and volunteered in this years LLS MAN-cathlon. Thank you to you for supporting LLS and it's mission to cure blood cancer. This was a successful series of events and I hope to see it continue next year with a new Canidate.
