The chicks will be 8 weeks old tomorrow. Tonight was the first night they didn’t huddle on the ground to sleep. This is where I found them. 😅😂

Some of my Isabel Ameraucana grow-outs. I love watching them feather out and get those pretty feathers 🤩

A few updated pictures of the hen I let hatch out some chicks a few weeks ago. They barely touch the food I give them because she takes them out all day long to eat bugs. They only come back into the barn to take a power nap, and then they’re back to eating.

These will be the last chicks I hatch from my main rooster. He disappeared when we were away on vacation. I should’ve kept more of his daughters when I had the chance 😅

Have y’all have heard of the Isabel Ameraucanas? They’re not recognized by the APA. My stock comes from the original creator of the new breed. I can’t wait to offer these in months to come 😊

We have gotten a lot of rain the last few days! The girls are molting and looking a little rough, but they’re still pretty to me. I see a lot of dark blue feathers coming back in😊
