A few updated pictures of the hen I let hatch out some chicks a few weeks ago. They barely touch the food I give them because she takes them out all day long to eat bugs. They only come back into the barn to take a power nap, and then they’re back to eating.

Today was a hot day! I moved this broody hen and her babies into the garage with A/C. Normally, I don’t let the hens hatch, but since I don’t have to clean out an incubator, I thought why not 🤷🏻‍♂️. These will be the last chicks I hatch from my main rooster. He disappeared when we were away on vacation. I should’ve kept more of his daughters when I had the chance 😅

I have been MIA here lately. This week we finished up the new chicken pens in the barn. I got to spend a little time with our newest additions to the farm. Have y’all have heard of the Isabel Ameraucanas? They’re not recognized by the APA. My stock comes from the original creator of the new breed. I can’t wait to offer these in months to come 😊

Getting the brooder ready for the weekend’s hatch. 🐣 🤩 It will be our biggest hatch yet! We will have over 100 chicks hatching 🤞 I have enough Wyandottes hatching for one more order of Wyandottes, and I have a few more spots if anyone is wanting to buy Ameraucanas. I have Ermine, Whites, and Blacks hatching. The parents are pictured below. I do not own the parents, but these chicks I am selling will be the same quality as my future brood stock!
