I will be back this week with the most requested item, aside from Wild Sand Plum Jelly, HEIRLOOM CINNAMON PICKLES!! These are a bo**er to make🤪, so they don’t make an appearance very often. Did I mention that they are DYE-FREE? My original recipe was loaded with red food coloring, but I recreated a healthier recipe!! ❤️Supply is limited, so please share the love. Limit 2 per family. I also have fresh batches of many favorites…Old Fashioned Apple Butter, Strawberry Rhubarb Jam, Mountain Berry Medley Jam, Red Plum Jelly, Mesquite Bean Jelly (regular & cinnamon), and so many more! Come get stocked up before it all melts!!

Feel good about sending a PB & J to school in your kid ‘s lunchbox, as my jams and jellies do not contain high fructose corn syrup—I only use non-gmo pure cane sugar. What says “Back to School” any better than packing a fresh homemade PB & J into a brand new lunch box? ❤️Well, maybe a pristine box of colorful crayons 🖍️ and a pack of no. 2 pencils ✏️ do, but over the last 35 years, a PB & J has been a staple at our house and back-to-school!! Oh the memories! I’ll have some great flavors for the kids, parents, and teachers too, at market this Saturday. I will not be at market on August 15th, so come stock up this Saturday, August 8th!! I have yet to find wild sand plums again this year😢,BUT when one of your friends texts you from Utah and asks, “What are these?”, you beg her to bring some home!! At first I thought they were Sierra Plums (aka Western Wild Plums), but the flesh isn’t yellow. I believe they are Satsuma Plums—tart skins and reddish purple flesh. Anyhow, they are going to be turned into some beautiful plum jelly! 💜❤️ I WON’T be at the Canyon Farmers Market this Saturday, August 1, but WILL be there on August 8th! Thanks Melinda!! You’re the plum best! 😊

Can I get a drumroll please…🥁🥁🥁…This week at the Canyon Farmers Market, I will have MESQUITE BEAN JELLY!!! It has been about three years since I’ve made any, and my sweet husband found the mesquite beans, picked them, and brought them home! If you’ve never tried Mesquite Bean Jelly, come get a taste this week. It’s commonly known as “Poor Man’s Honey”, and is one of my most sought after jellies! Of course I’ll have a good restock on many of my other jams, jellies, and fruit butters, including Old Fashioned Apple Butter!! Come see some of my fun flavors I’ve created for you! It’s First Responders Week at market, and you are appreciated greatly! I’ll have a discount for you!! 🚔🚒🚑🚁🚨We’re on the square from 8:00-12:00, and you’ll find me on the south side in front of Mickey’s! Hope to see you soon! One of my all-time favorites is returning to market tomorrow…Strawberry Basil Jam! Come try a sample! I also have another herbal jam that is very sought after—Rosemary Apricot Jam. It’s amazing on grilled chicken or served with your favorite soft cheese (It’s goat cheese for me, please!) For Independence Day, I have my annual Red, White, & Blue Jam 🇺🇸made from RED raspberries, ❤️WHITE peaches, 🤍and BLUEberries! 💙. Come see me early tomorrow, and beat the heat!
