Annie’s Project announces the Appointment of Seven New Board Members. Congratulations to new board members Marji Alaniz, Carolyn Banks, secretary of the board, Shannon Dill, Cleophus “Cleo” Franklin, Jr., Barbara Rater, Dr. Dee Singh-Knights, and Sam Schwoeppe.
The new board will focus on implementing the organization’s strategic plan and expanding its reach nationwide.
Managing for Today and Tomorrow is a succession course taught in the tradition of Annie's Project. Des Moines and Henry County Extension offices are partnering to bring this course to women in SE Iowa. Register today!
Managing for Today and Tomorrow: Farm Transition Planning is five-session course on passing down the farm through business, estate, retirement and succession planning. Des Moines and Henry County Extension offices are teaming up to offer this great course to women in southeast Iowa beginning January 27, 2022.

Jackson County Women in Ag...Annie's Project begins August 31 in Maquoketa! Class meets twice per week for three weeks. The Iowa Women’s Marketing Group is hosting a day-long workshop encouraging women in agriculture to enhance their grain marketing skills. "Bulls, Bears & Butterflies! Enhance Your Grain Marketing Skills" will be held at Reiman Gardens at Iowa State University in Ames on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021. The event begins at 8:30 a.m. and wraps up at 3 p.m. The cost of the workshop is $25 and includes lunch and admission to Reiman Gardens.
