Things people Said they would NEVER Do… Farm Edition 😂🐴

You know all those things you swear you’ll never do?
Then you get animals… and suddenly your standards change a little. 🤣

🐐 “I would NEVER put an animal in my vehicle.”
Me: Has a goat riding sh***un.

🌾 “I would NEVER haul hay in the back of my van.”
Me: Who needs seats when you can fit hay bales back there? 😂

🐓 “I would NEVER have an animal loose in the house.”
Me: Well… it’s cold outside and they’re just staying for a minute. 😆

🐴 “I would NEVER plan my whole day around animals.”
Me: What time do I need to be home for feeding?

👖 “I would NEVER go to town looking like this.”
Me: Muddy boots, hay in my hair, and probably something questionable on my jeans. 🤷‍♀️

💰 “I would NEVER spend that much money on an animal.”
Me: But look how cute they are! 😂

🚗 “I would NEVER let my vehicle get this dirty.”
Me: Hay on the floor, feed bags in the back, muddy paw prints, and enough dirt to start another garden.

So, I did a thing… as if I need more things to keep me busy. 😮‍💨 I have good cause, though. I had a super broody hen who tried her best to hatch some eggs. The eggs didn’t develop, so I bought her some babies! Not all of them are chicks. Four are Guineas, two are chicks. They are so stinkin’ cute!!!
It’s been so heartwarming watching momma hen accept them, protect them, and teach them. She is fierce! She will go after ANYTHING that comes near her babies, even me! LOL!
Having Guineas around here is sure to be an adventure! 😃😂 Updates will be forthcoming as we move along.
