🍏Apple Brown Betty🍏 Around here it’s Apple season so I am declaring this Apple Baking Week! This recipe is not in my cookbooks but it’s old like me. One of the easiest desserts to make, and it’s absolutely delicious! Serve with ice cream… NOT optional! 😉 And as luck would have it, it’s Apple Betty Day! (10/5) Tune in all week for Apple recipes!

What a beautiful day in the House of the Lord and then with family! The rain held off so the kids could run outside.
Today’s menu: hash & rice, Boston Butt, BBQ, BBQ chicken legs, baked beans, cabbage casserole, mashed potatoes, shells & cheese, green beans, sweet potatoes, corn, Lima beans, rolls, Pound Cake, Apple Cake with Caramel glaze… my nap was EARNED, no judging!

Finally feeling like fall around here so I ran to Hobby Lobby and picked up some pumpkins and flowers for my window boxes. Who else is decorating for fall?

Throwing it back to Sunday. We were missing a few… so lots of to-go plates and leftovers to share! Pork chops and Rice, BBQ chicken legs, mashed potatoes, asparagus, English peas, shells & cheese, Black Eyed Peas, corn, green beans, sweet potato casserole, deviled eggs, squash, pear salad, Waldorf salad, ambrosia salad, rolls and Caramel Cake.
