The Blue Canyon Gang was founded in 1972 by a bunch of western history buffs in the Sacramento area, who decided to revive the Old West by performing skits and scenarios from a bygone era. The BCG performs throughout Northern California at western themed events both public and private and have performed in Sacramento, CA at every Gold Rush Days event since it began, for 14 consecutive years.
