This boy’s coloring is such a great mystery to me.
I’d like to know how he’s roaning out so quick and there’s so much black on a genetically red animal.
His DNA is: E+ / e, (wild red & recessive red)
Both mom & dad are dominant black.
Dad Macho carries E+ (wild red) & mom is also dominant black but carries recessive red “e”. We know that E+ wild red can morph into some crazy things when mixed with other colors, but this is really crazy !
In my mind, he should stay red and not have all these other really neat things happening.

Girrrrl ! I swear that baby is just gonna fall out…. Hopefully SOON ! She’s genetically & conformationally MADE for having babies.

That’s a 48” fence she’s next to. I’ll get a good measurement on her when I bring her up this weekend. I’m gonna guess she’s about 28 inches?
