Burnham Farm

Burnham Farm Burnham Farm was originally organized in the late 1960's here in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania

Burnham Farm, was founded by my parents, Larry & Eileen Burns Fisher in the late 1960's. Their core philosophy carries on in our work today ;" All of our homegrown fruits and vegetables will be grown using tried & true organic methods & practices." Our featured varieties of vegetables vary from year to year but our main crops will always be our Siberian Red Hard Neck Garlic , Cucumbers , Green &

Yellow Beans , Zucchini , fresh seasonal greens and many kinds of our fresh and dried homegrown herbs. We also enjoy creating our own pickles, both processed and refrigerator styles, relishes , salsa's , fruit butters , jams & jellies . We are also happy to announce the return of our barrel cured sauerkraut which will become available later on this year. ENJOY the GOODNESS of our own Organically Grown Fruits, Vegetables and Pantry Products.

Hi everyone !
I received a message from a follower on Tuesday saying, "Hey there, ..... a couple questions about my goodies that I got at the Tractor Supply last month - How do we serve the pickled beets? Heat them or serve chilled? Are they already cooked?? Someone said about making hardboiled eggs but we don’t wanna make them today!! And what about the Spiced Crab Apples? Any special instructions? And the sweet zucchini bread & butter pickles - are they like cucumber pickles? Thanks!!"
Thank you for your great questions !!
You should serve your pickled beets cold and yes, they are already cooked and ready to eat
