We are dreaming of the day when the Annapolis Food Co-op opens it's doors with thousands of member-owners. The more we spread the word and mobilize, the sooner we will see this dream realized! What exactly is a food co-op? 🤔

A food co-op is:
🥬 A grocery store owned by the community members who shop there
😁 Accountable to the local community, not distant corporate shareholders
💸 Where profits are used to sustain and improve the co-op and support the community
🤝 A democratically controlled, values-based business
