last night I took my first class at Unwind Yoga Meditation which is just down the street from the tearoom.

What an experience! I desperately needed a relaxing stretch as I feel like I’ve been running on a hamster wheel for the last year and a half. Really excited to add this to my regular practice as we are beginning to ramp up for the holiday season.

Something wicked this way steeps. 🕯️🫖

This Halloween, The Hen and Drake invite you to a most bewitching afternoon tea on Saturday, October 31st. Think candlelit tables, finger sandwiches with a little mischief, and sweets fit for a haunted garden party, all served with the warmth of a California welcome and the polish of a proper British tea.

And yes, darling, costumes are not only welcome, they’re encouraged. 🦇 Come as a Victorian ghost, a glamorous witch, a vampire with impeccable manners, or something entirely your own. The more delightfully dressed, the better.
