We had a great time at the 4G Farms annual farm fun day!! Around 30 vendors and a lot of fun for the family!! We made some great contacts and lined up some beef and pork for few families!!

We had a great afternoon at the Tennessee Valley Beef and Forage Field Day in Madison County.
We were able to add to our farming knowledge on cattle nutrition and shared great conversation with our fellow farmers.
Many thanks to the Extension Office/Auburn University for bringing this event!

A lot of truth in this video!!!! Without future farms people are going to have a hard time finding food. The cost of farming is rising each month, if a person farms in this day and time it’s because they love the lifestyle. It’s an honor to produce food that goes on the table of the public, but it’s time the consumer respect and appreciate the people feeding their families. Please buy local and support the people who raise your food the right way. I don’t care if a person ever buys us, as long as they continue to buy American owned and operated products!!

We pulled the bulls out,to give them a break for a couple months, over the weekend. It was great weather to be out doing projects on the farm. It’s nice having good calm bulls to deal with, really liking these Beefmaster bulls.

Check on you farming/Ranching friends!!!! We are not okay in this weather!!

While everyone else is enjoying some snow and a few days off for the holidays, the food industry suppliers are taking care of future products. This is a life that we choose and love!! Farming/Ranching has to be in your blood, it must be a passion deep inside of you. There is no such thing as a day off, vacations are slim,but we LOVE it with every fiber of who we are. It makes us proud to put food on the tables of others!!!
