So disappointed because I had heard good things!

We tried Jack's Wing Shack in Ardmore, AL tonight. We had a large take out order. I had to repeat my order 4 times over the phone before they got it correct. My husband was picking up so I gave him a list just in case. When you pay they ask for a tip, which would have been fine if their service had not been so terrible. We were told to pick up in 30 minutes. When my husband arrived he was told they didn't have our order and our food was not ready. When he got home we were missing food. I called and spoke to two people. The first gentleman asked what was missing and after I told him he said "huh" and passed the phone to a lady. I repeated what we were missing and she said she would make it if we wanted to come back. I said yes and thanked her. She hung up on me. No apology from either one. When my husband went back the same gentleman handed him the bag and wouldn't make eye contact. He just held his arm out with the bag. Again no apology at all. The food was mediocre. Boneless wings were small, over cooked and hard. The sauces barely had any flavor. The cajun ranch fries had no spice at all and didn't taste like ranch. Waste of time, money, and gas.

Overall 2 forks down.

Creamy Philly Cheesesteak Orzo Pasta

I recently created this recipe as a quick weeknight meal for my family and they devoured it. I was amazed at how much of the Philly cheesesteak flavor was there. This will definitely be in our dinner rotation from now on! This could also be made with chicken instead of beef, and mushrooms would be a nice addition.

🫑🧅🧀😋

Ingredients:
2 green bell peppers, seeded and chopped
1 yellow onion chopped
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp minced garlic
32 oz Beef broth
1 cup water
16 oz uncooked orzo pasta
2 cups milk
2 cups shredded mozzarella and provolone blend cheeses
2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 lb chopped deli roast beef

Directions:
1. In a large pot heat olive oil over medium high heat. Add chopped peppers and onions. Saute until onions are translucent. Stir in chopped garlic and saute a minute more.
2. Pour in beef broth and water. Bring to a boil.
3. Stir in orzo pasta and boil for 10 minutes or until pasta is tender and has absorbed most of the liquid.
4. Stir in milk and seasonings. Bring back up to a simmer then add in shredded cheese and stir until smooth. Add a little more milk if necessary.
5. Stir in chopped roast beef and cook 2-3 minutes more until warmed through.

Serve with a salad and garlic bread if desired.
