Sandy Springs Farm

Sandy Springs Farm Organic watermelon Sandy Springs farm is located about 3 miles south of Bluff Springs, IL. We grow convention crops and organic produce. We raise South Poll Cattle.

We lease about 200 acres of hunting ground to deer and turkey hunters and have a farm house that hunters can rent. The house can also be rented to anyone just wanting to get away for a weekend. The farm is owned by Roger Hendricker and his son Gene Powell. Roger's other son, Mike Powell, assists him around the farm and with the organic produce. Gene takes care of leasing the hunting ground and scheduling stays at the house.
