Who is allergic to poison ivy, poison oak and sumac? Well I defiantly am and have been all my life. When I got my goats a couple years ago we started the task of clearing the fence lines and repairing them to make sure they couldn't get out. Well even though I've always been allergic I never remembered what it looked like to stay away from it. I wish I knew back then that there was another plant that was basically poison ivy's antidote. Its called Jewelweed. Jewelweed is known to neutralize the urushiol in poison ivy to relieve itching and prevent spreading of the rash. I've made the jewelweed into an amazing salve with added rosemary and tea tree essential oil. This salve is perfect for hikers, campers or really anyone who loves enjoying the outdoors. Each glass jar is 3 oz. for $10 each.

This salve is the whole reason I started researching the benefits of all the beautiful plants that God has given us. This salve is my go to for all my achy muscles. When my arthritis flares up in my neck and shoulder you better believe this is what I grab. My husband also uses it any time he has achy muscles.
