Swathing and raking soybeans

07/25/2026

Jared and Jordy left early this morning to swathe and bale. The littles and I took pizza to the field for lunch, then they decided they wanted to ride. This is the first time all 7 of us were able to ride because Jordy is old enough to drive 😬
Fun fact: the soybeans get swathed, baled, and later ground up to feed the cattle through the winter. They are a great source of protein!
