Pipes freezing during winter?!
Insulate any exposed pipes or faucets with quality insulation. Strengthen the home's defenses by eliminating sources of cold air near water lines by addressing drafty windows and drafts around doors. Open Cabinet doors and Loft Hatches. You should allow warm air to circulate around pipes under sinks or up in the attic. Allowing warm air to circulate will help prevent the pipes from freezing. One way to stop your pipes from freezing is to keep your garage door closed, especially if water supply lines go through the garage. Most often, garages feature high amounts of smooth concrete, which can keep it very cold. A garage door accidentally left open can leave any water pipes exposed to freezing temperatures.

Did you know that August is Water Quality Awareness Month?

The planet is covered in water by ~72%. However, only 1% of that is of consumable quality. The science and technological advancements made within the water industry allow our communities to enjoy a reliable and critical resource by simply turning on their kitchen tap.
