Harvested elderberries and just got done plucking them off the stems and cleaning out the stems and washing them now to drying them and to the dehydrator they go.

I put a lot of celadon eggs in the incubator I will have chics ready Friday Sept 18th.

These will all be st run only. With both feather sexable and non feather sexable available.

These are Roux Colors some may be Ginger.

I am only keeping what I need that leaves about 30-60 that will he available.

I just put more eggs in the incubator this evening. I will have Jumbos available in couple weeks as chics or longer for grow outs.

I was not gonna set more celadon eggs but I am trying to get a specific type and have a covey or two of them.

Why Our Birds Are Priced This Way

We take great pride in raising our birds with quality feed, careful management, and selective breeding.

From 0–7 weeks of age, all of our birds are fed Kalmbach Non-GMO Turkey & Game Bird Starter Crumble. Around 6–7 weeks, they are gradually transitioned to an organic layer and chick starter crumble mix, using Nature Smart or Modesto. Our parent stock is also fed organic feed.

Because we invest in higher-quality, more expensive feed and provide extensive care throughout the birds’ development, our pricing reflects the true cost of raising healthy, quality birds.

Many breeders who do not use organic or higher-quality feed charge the same—or even more—for their birds. We work hard to keep our prices as reasonable as possible while still accounting for the time, materials, and expenses involved in raising each generation.

Our costs include:

* Quality feed and clean water
* Incubators and incubation supplies
* Electricity and equipment operation
* Brooding and daily care for 4–5+ weeks
* Bedding and enclosure materials
* Pens, hutches, and other necessary supplies
* Time spent monitoring, caring for, and raising each bird
* Selective breeding and maintaining quality parent stock
* Ongoing work to improve our lines with each generation

We aren’t simply selling a bird—we are investing significant time, resources, and care into producing healthy, well-raised birds while continuously working to improve our breeding lines.

Our goal is to provide quality birds at a fair and reasonable price, while making sure the cost of raising them is responsibly covered.

We have feather sexable and some Range non feather sexable in here.

These will be able to be feather sexed by 3-3 1/2 weeks old.

I am not selling these before 7 weeks old as I am keeping back some for breeding.
