Guess what we did this morning?! Guess who was not a fan?! If you guessed clipped udders for the goat show this weekend and the does having to be patient in the morning you would be correct! 😂 Special thanks to BusyB Goat Farm for making me realize “oh sugar I probably should do that” after posting her lucky morning! How’d I do with the udder clips Liza? lol 😂
*Preface this are 12 hour working fills for these ladies, no where near as full as they can hold*

I don’t think I’ve introduced my last 2 retained kids for 2026. Oops😅🤷‍♀️ Daughters of Honig GF Irish Velvet and Channell Homestead RR Renegade, picture around 3-4 weeks old. These girls are growing so beautifully and I’m likely overly ambitious to bring them to a show end of August but oh well.

Yesterday commenced lead training for the juniors! Can you tell they hated it?🤪😂 don’t worry they only have 5 minute max training session. Nigi’s love the dramatic flare.. Pictured are my 2 Intermediate Juniors; Galadriel and Arwen.

PS. Galadriel is the maternal Aunt to Arwen😉

I was fortunate enough to have childcare and animal care arranged so I could sneak away for a couple days to go spectate the Nigerian show and see friends at the ADGA National Show in Springfield MA on Monday and Tuesday! What an incredible thing to experience I can’t imagine what it was like to actually be showing, I was stressed just watching! I learned a lot and I’m so thankful for the experience. Maybe one day we’ll actually bring goats to the show but I suspect that is a long term goal for far future.
