Onyx's story continues. As he grows, we are working diligently to help strengthen and straighten his right leg. It's tough because his left leg is about 6in shorter. He puts all of his weight on the left short leg causing the right one to knuckle over and become weak. He does have the right leg braced to help with his movements. But at the end of the day.....Onyx is in need of a prostetic leg on the left.

I am working with Bionic Pets to get one ordered, but am needing help with this project. Any amd all help is very much appreciated.

Onyx gets a leg splint. It's not his favorite thing, but he doesn't fight me to put it on. He just licks me. Hoping this helps build strength and straighten that leg a bit. He is trying to use it more.

Been a bit since I posted here.... we are looking into a brace for 1 leg and a prostetic on the other. Phew. Poor baby. He's in good spirits and out enjoying the sun.

He is putting more weight on the right leg which is good. We just need to brace it and help him straighten it out so he can build strength.

Sweet boy Onyx is healing nicely. He loves being free to be out in the pasture eating grass. He can go in his Lil barn when he wants. Except at night, we take his halter off and pur him in the barn.

I love this picture with his milk beard. He's so cute.

Good morning from Onyx.... today he got to meet the rest of the herd..... all very curious....especially the mommas.. a couple of the older calves hung out a bit longer.

He's enjoying some nice green grass now.

Onyx is home. We got his lot finished and we're able to bring him home today. He's a bit nervous.

Good morning from Onyx. He is up and enjoying the warm weather. Drank a full bottle, ate some grass, and some feed.
