Kane’s Homestead We are a family of 4 living on our homestead in central Oklahoma.

So far our homestead consists of KuneKune Pigs, Rabbits, Ducks, Chickens, Quail, Guineas, Turkeys, Hair Sheep, Goats, Dogs, and Cats.

Update- It’s a GIRL! She is very calm and sweet and doesn’t cry when I pick her up. I may be in love and so happy she will not be going to freezer camp.

I have been checking this mama almost constantly and found this morning that she had a little lamb! This ewe is blowing her coat right now so she looks a little rough but overall Mom and baby look like they are healthy as can be.

We have 5 new sweet little faces on the homestead! One of them I’m fairly certain was a bottle baby. She wants to be all up in the mix. I also had to pay my son $2 for the rights of these pictures and videos 😂 This pen is just temporary so please don’t lose your mind that they don’t have grass. It was late last night when we got them home and they have a fresh bale of alfalfa. They will be on lush green grass by the end of the day.
