🎉🍣 BIG Asheville Foodie News! 🍱🔥

Ichiban just announced they’re officially taking over the old Cracker Barrel Restaurant on Tunnel Rd — after losing their Biltmore Village spot to Hurricane Helene 11 months ago.

We are SO EXCITED for this comeback! 🙌 Hibachi flying, sushi rolling, and all the good vibes returning right here in Asheville.

They shared that it’ll take a little time to rebuild all the hibachi tables and sushi amenities to bring back the full original Ichiban experience — but by early summer 2026, 34 Tunnel Rd will be their new home. 🏯✨

How many of y’all are ready to go when the doors open?! 🍣🔥🥢

Now that Prestige Subaru has relocated to its new location, what would you like to see open in its place? Personally my family and I would like to see Raising Cane's or Fuddruckers. A trampoline park, such as Sky Zone, could also be fun. Tunnel Road and East Asheville feel like a blank canvas ready for new businesses.
