Ugh! This summer heat and humidity has just been awful! Fans have been helping the sheepies a little bit. But with the night temps hovering at 77 degrees these next few days, we broke out the AC. It won’t be enough to keep the barn cold but will at least drop the humidity and the temp a little bit. Love these little sweethearts!

My two ewes both lambed - one yesterday and one today. Yesterday day I went down to feed them and my Alice had lambed in the pasture, a bright-eyed little ewe. They’re doing great! Today's lambing was much harder. Mamma D went into full blown preg tox Monday and by Wednesday vet said we needed to induce. She was so weak, vet had us pull them to help her along but it was a rough birth. One of the twins was DOA. She’s still weak, not attentive to the little ram who made it, but not rejecting him either. Praying she can get back to full health soon and praying this crazy weather will give us a break!

1 surgically repaired ankle, over 22 hours, across 7 states, in 2 days. Yes, we could’ve made more convenient choices, but life is an adventure and once you find your dream, you’ll do anything to make it happen. None of this would be possible without my sweet forever friend and husband, farmer Sean. He goes to incredible lengths to keep our farm running and his crazy bride happy. 💕 Thank you handsome! 🐑 Life
