Once again this year we see many neighbors and friends go through some very devastating fires. We are again going to help with the coordination of the hay and supplies needed for those who have been affected. Please feel free to contact us and a friendly reminder to stay patient with the volunteers who are working hard to make this happen.

‼️May is Beef Month‼️

Ryan and his wife Jordan had the opportunity to help Stew Leonard's Stew Leonard's - Yonkers NY kick off Beef Month and Grilling Season by grilling and promoting prime N.Y. Strip steaks! It was great to see so many consumers enjoy the delicious taste of prime beef! This was a tremendous opportunity for Ryan and Jordan. Thank you to all the ranchers and producers who continue to produce the best cattle!

With all the craziness that we have seen the past several weeks and the overwhelming amount of support we have received, we would like to send our most sincere thoughts and prayers to our neighbors up north. These events are truly devastating and we know the struggles that lie ahead. We encourage everyone to keep moving forward. Our friends and family in Kansas continue to persevere everyday and we know that Nebraska will do the same.

The Nebraska Cattlemen Disaster Relief Fund is accepting monetary donations and relief applications to assist beef cattle producers who are being impacted by fires. 100% of the donations will be distributed to impacted producers and membership in NC in NOT required for applicants to receive relief. 2/19 UPDATE: Cash donations are now being taken through the Kansas Livestock Foundation. 100% of funds donated will go toward relief efforts. Go to https://www.kla.org/affiliates/kansas-livestock-foundation/disaster-relief-donations.

KLA continues to assess the needs of those in the hardest-hit areas by ongoing wildfires in southwestern Kansas. Donations of hay and fencing supplies are being accepted at various collection sites. To donate, call the KLA office at (785) 273-5115 and we will help coordinate a drop-off.
