🎄 PASS A GOOD TIME CHRISTMAS MARKET 🎄
at NOMAD kitchen & BB FINCH Farm Trading Post | November 27–28
Together with Edwards Produce we have an idea — and we’d love for you to be part of it!
This November, we want to bring our vendors, local makers, farmers, bakers, small businesses, friends, neighbors and customers together for two days of Christmas shopping, good food and simply having a good time together.
And we really mean together!
There will be NO VENDOR FEE. If you make it, bake it, grow it, raise it or create it — we’d love to have you join us!
And our invitation goes even further. We also warmly invite local businesses and vendors who see us as competition. Christmas is a pretty good time to put competition aside, work together and give our local community something a little different and special.

There’s room for all of us — and supporting one local business doesn’t have to mean choosing against another. For these two days, let’s simply see what we can create together.

If you’re a customer, bring your family, come hungry, meet the people behind the products and find Christmas gifts you won’t find in a big-box store.

Trading Post will be open for Christmas shopping, and our kitchen will be preparing a special menu different from what we normally serve.
We also chose our dates so we don’t compete with Vinland’s Christmas event the weekend before. We want everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy and support both.

Look what God did—we’ve gone INTERNATIONAL! 🌍🚀

We are beyond thrilled to share that our fresh-harvested Yaupon has officially crossed borders and is now available to our global family! 🌿✨

This milestone is a testament to a journey that began in a place of deep love and heavy grief. After my husband passed away, I built a h**p business to bring others the same profound relief he had found from the plant. But forces completely outside of my control stepped in, and everything went sideways.

But God. 🙌💖

In early 2024, the universe led me to a massive female Yaupon tree at the back of my property. I received a profound download of what it was, realizing my entire land was covered in a beneficial, native treasure we had once spent years trying to eradicate.

While local doors shut and people tried to tear me down, God helped build a global highway through our online store.

Even losing our own website last year couldn't stop this momentum. Getting that official confirmation just a few weeks ago that we are now international proves that what God has destined for you cannot be blocked by anyone on earth.

Today, we are officially shipping our Yaupon worldwide to our international family. And for our local markets, we are handcrafting our signature Aura Mallows—including a special Yaupon-infused marshmallow that brings this holy plant's healing energy into a sweet local treat! 🍡✨

My whole life’s been built on learning how to pivot and survive.

So when another business pivot was to make marshmallows, I thought, "All right, I can do that."

I jumped right in, expecting my usual hustle to carry me through. But they were horrible. I spent days handcrafting and curing batches that were absolutely terrible. It was a lot of time and a lot of hard work that wasn't paying off.

So, I stopped making marshmallows, and I decided it wasn't worth it.

But in the moment of stepping away, the noise finally stopped and I heard: "Slow down. Breathe." ☁️

Taking that breath shifted everything from frantic forcing to calm alignment. I went back weeks later, worked through the mistakes, fixed what needed to be fixed, and made a few more batches. By slowing down, I finally mastered the chemistry.

I've gone from that to this.

Sitting before me now are perfect, pillowy, gourmet clouds of Aura Mallows, and that's why they're handcrafted with intention. Because sometimes we can feel so defeated that we just need to step back and take a breather. And when you take a moment to enjoy one of our Mallows, it brings a moment of peace to the chaos and brightens your Aura.

The lesson was never about the candy; it was about learning that hard work only pays off when it is fueled by peace, presence, and stillness. I no longer had to live in survival mode. I know how to breathe and continue on this journey. ✨
