Sassafras Sage aka Sage aka DIVA

Sage is a Texas Heeler (3/4 Australian Cattle dog and 1/4 Australian Shepherd). She comes from an outstanding working line. You will never meet a dog with more grit and heart than this one. Herding runs so deep in her blood that she just can’t contain herself when she sees a cow. Who said you can’t have both beauty and brains? She thrives in any task given to her and loves showing off her abundance of tricks! Sage was born March of 2023 and is a whopping 40 pounds. Don’t let her petite build fool you. She is one feisty spit fire that can keep up with the best of them. Her drive is unmatched! But when it’s time to wind down, Sage is the first in your lap stealing your covers. She really enjoys snuggle time, watching Animal Planet, car rides, playing fetch, kayaking, and bird watching!

So why breed Sage?
Sage comes from a well distinguished line of working Heelers. Her parents have produced many successful litters and we would love to carry that lineage on. Not only does she have the perfect mixture of work and play, she is the perfect size! Her small frame is not only adorable but adds to her abilities and athleticism. Everyone needs a Sassy Sage in their life! Just not this one, she’s taken! So why not one of her pups?

✨Meet the Dad✨

Boy Howdy Bosco aka Bosco aka Bosky aka Trouble Maker!

Bosco is a true red heeler that comes from great working lines. However, Bosco’s only priorities are his Mom, food, and finding trouble! He is as loyal as they come and can always be found in his mom’s shadow. Bosco has many “protection dog” qualities and isn’t afraid to come between a threat and his person. He enjoys being a trail boss along side horses, car rides, kayaking, cuddling, chasing frogs, and tasting everything whether it’s edible or not. He was born in September of 2023 and weighing in at 65 pounds of pure muscle. He is great around horses, cows, cats, goats, kids, and other dogs. He does however have a track record with leftovers and chickens. Can you blame him though?
So why breed Bosco?
Bosco has perfect confirmation, great athleticism, and a wonderful disposition. He is a very work minded dog and thrives when he has a job. Exactly what people look for in Heelers. He’s got the grit needed to work a farm, the love for pleasing his handler, the heart to be a great family dog, and the stoutness to keep up with the best! Who wouldn’t want a Bosco?
