Is it?
The bible shows us COUNTLESS times that God is faithful. Joseph denied burial in Egypt because he knew the God of his father would deliver his body to the land that was promised.
Moses was delivered from the Pharoah's wrath and army through a parted river.
The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, in turn allowing us a place in the throneroom of the almighty.
Yet how often do we pray without preparation? You beleive you are being kept safe from your enemies but you wont even move to block the door?
I say it to everybody I know, these 2 puppies are my "umbrella" puppies. Daisey & Dixie (pictured). They come from well bred stock, destined to do the job I dont have for them yet. But a while ago, I heard a story that sounded a little bit like . . .
Townspeople gathered in the square to pray for rain, after 3 months of drought the crops were dying and the food was getting scarce. But as they lined up to join hands to plead with the Lord a lady noticed the gentleman to her left was not holding her hand. She looked down to see a small black umbrella clutched in his hand.
I used to think my neighbor growing up was wild for thanking God for things He hadn't done yet. That just wasn't in my scope of religion - almost seemed too demanding.
But, read the scriptures. Not once did God fail.
Not once did he not deliver, or keep His promise. He wont start with you.
