Got to work on this super fun wedding cake this week! It made it to a destination 6 hours away and turned out better than I imagined! Perfect for a pretty wedding in the woods!

Good Morning! I'm going to be offering some Valentines Day specials this year! Some seasonal flavours such as Turkish Delight (Chocolate and Rose) Chocolate Strawberry and Vanilla, Strawberry and Rose will all be available in cake form!

I'm now offering mini cakes! 4" around they comfortably serve 3-4 people, or two if you're hungry, 20$. Great for those who don't want any leftovers!

I will also be bringing back the donuts, 6 for 18$ the Valentines day filling options are Raspberry Jam, Chocolate Ganache or Strawberry Rhubarb Jam!

For the classics lovers, I'll be making chocolate Choux au Craquelin filled with whipped cream and fresh raspberries. 2 for 10$

Last but not least, I'll be offering custard buns, soft, sweet cardamom scented brioche rolls filled with smooth vanilla custard and topped with a brûlée apricot 2 for 10$!

The menu will be going live on my website at noon today! And all of these will be available in the Valentines Day Treat box, (if you can't decide) with one mini cake, two donuts, two Choux buns and two custard buns all for 50$ perfect for a romantic evening or weekend in!

Hey Everyone! After a small hiatus I am back, and with a new product! Once weekly I will be offering 'Treat Boxes' an assortment of 4-5 treats I'm loving that week.

This week's box (available for pick-up/local delivery on January 9th) is a Chai inspired box, with a slice of Chai Spice Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting, Two Chewy Chai Sugar Cookies, a Cardamom Brioche Bun with Custard Filling and a Streusel Topping and Two English Muffins!

The boxes will cost 30$ or 60$ for a double portion.

Pre-Orders are open now and will close on Thursday evening at 6pm!

Photos are an example of a trial box from last week, not representative of this week's box.

This tall baby was a strawberry cake layered with champagne strawberries and a rose swiss meringue buttercream. The combination was to die for!
I love collaborating with my clients to create exactly the right cake for their occasion!

As some of you may know, I recently have taken a new job! I'll be working in Research and Development for a large scale allergen free bakery, this is super exciting news! In addition to the new job, I've decided to enroll in University starting September 2020!

However this means that In Bloom's hours are changing! From now onwards all orders made will only be available for pickup on Saturday and Sunday! This means that if you want bread, pastries or cakes on Saturday, you must order no later than Thursday, and for Sunday please order by Friday! All other orders will be pushed to the following weekend!

There may be some space for weekday orders but these will be primarily cakes and on a *very* limited basis.

I want to thank everyone for their continued support! I could not have done any of this without you and I am so honoured to be serving my community in this way!

I am very excited for what the future holds both for myself and In Bloom Bakes, I'm working on big things to hopefully serve you better (including markets!) And much more!

*UPDATE* New Website! & New Items!
Hey again Everyone!

After a lot of feedback and back and forth emails I have completely updated my website! It is now as it should be, a webstore! You have the functionality to order exactly what you need/want and checkout on the website itself. After checkout a pick-up time and address will be provided for you! All of the options are available on all of the items themselves, such as vegan/gf options for cakes, sizes and quantities!

Hopefully this makes everything much easier for everyone!

For those of you that live out of area and don't like driving, I'm working on setting up some dropoff/pickup points around the city, please be patient, I'm still only one person and I am still working full time as well as getting this up and running.
