Urban Tea Party

08/14/2026

When Urban Tea Party was founded nearly 20 years ago, it was built on a simple belief:

Every cup has the power to change a conversation.

That belief has grown into a movement centered on culture, wellness, leadership, and community.

Today, we proudly celebrate our Founder and TEO, Sherolyn Sellers, whose appointment as Chair of the Governing Board of the Atlanta Black Chambers marks a historic milestone as the organization's first woman Chair.

While this recognition honors Sherolyn's leadership, it also reinforces the values that define Urban Tea Party: honoring legacy, creating opportunity, and helping communities flourish.

This is more than an appointment.

It's another chapter in a journey of purpose.

Congratulations, Madam Chair.

The future is steeping beautifully.

The little moments become the memories that last a lifetime.

Somewhere between the laughter, the garden path, and a warm cup of tea, life slows down.

Urban Tea Party™️ isn’t just a place to drink tea.

It’s a place to reconnect.
To heal.
To celebrate.
To pass traditions from one generation to the next.

If this feels like the kind of life you’ve been craving...

Welcome home.

The sip you didn’t know you needed. ☕

Some places sell tea.

Some places create a feeling.

A slower pace.
Meaningful conversations.
Beautiful spaces.
Culture.
Wellness.
Connection.

If this is your vibe...

You’re in the right place.

Welcome to Urban Tea Party

Looking like this when you never stopped pouring into your purpose.
Today I celebrate the best years of life and the official opening of something I’ve been building for two decades.
The community is open. The tea is ready. The table is set.
Every cup tells a story. Today we start a new chapter.

They bathed in it before we ever brewed it.
Our ancestors used herbs, roots and petals to heal what the world tried to break. This isn’t just a brand. This is a lineage.
Urban Tea Party was never about the cup.

It was always about the healing.
Every cup tells a story.

Tea isn’t something I sell.
It’s something I was called to carry.
20 years ago I walked into a vision I didn’t fully understand yet. Today I understand every single cup.
Steeped in Culture. Stirred by the Soul.
