Atlanta Guys Dinner Group

Atlanta Guys Dinner Group The Atlanta Guys Dinner Group, a 501(c)(3), is a group of guys who get together every other month to break bread and give back to the Atlanta community.

Every other month, the group supports one local group or cause by donating their time or resources. I started The Monday Night Dinner Group many years ago while living in Hawaii. What started out as a few colleagues with the same night off grabbing a bite to eat, has now formed into a monthly tradition of good guys getting together to share meals and good conversation, to laugh with and at one ano

Well, our 2nd Annual Paella Fundraiser is in the books, and we could not be any happier with how it turned out. The space was packed with the most incredible and generous humans, delicious food, and an amazing raffle and live auction lot.

The Atlanta Guys Dinner Group started out as just a couple of guys wanting to go support other local chefs, owners, and staff who had come in to support us when I opened up the first Atlanta Barcelona Wine Bar in Inman Park, a place where I was so fortunate to forge so many wonderful lasting relationships. From those dinners, this group just organically grew with like-minded guys who wanted to dine out, give back and be a part of something special. Fast forward thirteen years later, and here we are, a GA-registered nonprofit that supports other local nonprofits, causes and individuals, all while supporting local eateries during our bi-monthly guys dinners and twice-a-year open-community initiative drives.

First, we have to thank solomon for so generously hosting us in her beautiful space. Please be sure to visit Chow a la Carte for daily pop-up dining experiences.

Next, we wild like to thank Amy and Addy Holler for taking the time to bake the most incredible sweet treats that were enjoyed by everyone. You know they are good when you sell out.

I would like to thank my beautiful friend Michelle Fabulich who made that call years ago, and got us on our path, asking if we wanted to support the kids in her nonprofit, “Children Helping Chlidren” which we call our first “official” partnership dinner. Here we are, 87 (official) partnership dinners down (and tons more to go).

We would not be who we are without the guys who have made up this group, both past and present, with many from the beginning still actively involved. Thank you for availing yourselves and showing up to support the cause.

A BIG thank you to all of those that contributed to our raffle and live auction lot. Your generosity is so greatly appreciated, and we know that all the winners are in for a real treat. **Facebook did not upload the original post due to so many tags, so we will tag them in the replies individually. Please be sure to support them and tell them that we sent you.

To my good buddy Michael Benedetti, who was sitting next to me at dinner many years ago when we knew that we had to do something with this and here we are. He never says no, always shows up and is the maestro behind the paella pans. Love ya, bud.

To our council and board brothers-you all are the best and help to make this all so easy to do. Thank you for always showing up, for the continued support, and for being a part of this.

For the partners of the guys in the group-thank you for letting us borrow them and for your support, as well. We continue to promise to have them home at a decent hour and in one piece.

Lastly, we could not continue to do what we do without the ongoing support of our friends, family and the support of those in the community that we serve. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Wake Up-Brew-Give Back!

We are so excited to have partnered up with Notable Roasters to bring you a 50/50 Colombian-Rwandan, AGDG Morning blend.

This coffee is a medium-light blend with notes of citrus, chocolate and caramel that is low in acidity and quite smooth, making for a wonderful cup of coffee.

We will have bags available for purchase at Wednesday’s open invite with a portion of the proceeds going to that nights charitable partner Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Georgia

Bags are also available for shipping (s&h) and local delivery/meet up at a great eatery:-)

These make great stocking stuffers and/or a wonderful office/work coffee station brew or for your restaurant. Grab a bag for yourself and others.

The Atlanta Guys Dinner Group is so thankful to be able to do what we do because of the amazing community, friends and family that support our efforts.

This week we were able to purchase a bunch of baking supplies for our friends at the wonderful WeLoveHi organization that are supporting families that sell baked goods to earn a living.

This is what community is all about and why we love what we do.

Thank you all for your ongoing support.

Big thak you to Kamayan ATL Filipino Restaurant for being such a wonderful drop-off hub.

Hope to see you all next Wednesday at our open invite.

Number 84 was one for the books. What a way to close the year out with our last guys-only dinner for 2025.

Thirty guys (eight new, three of whom drove in anywhere from 1-2 hours to join us) plus five guests came together to support and celebrate the wonderul leaders and amazing students STEM for the work they do to support young women in science, technology, engineering and math. The platform that they provide to these young girls is simply amazing.

Thank you to Dr. Tamika Ray Head, her board Dr. Martha Davids and Rhonda Floyd Smith, and mother-supporter Mrs. Socorro and to student ambassador Falyssa, who developed a device to help non-verbal kids communicate, for joining us. Please wish her the best as she applies to two prestigious universities to continue her studies at either Columbia or Georgetown Universities.

BIG THANK YOU to my friend Bobae Kim and her crew Salaryman Toco Hills where everyone raved about the food. My kimchi-fried rice with the addition of a poached egg was so ridiculously good.

Thank you to our board members Tod Haris and Jay Sonnier for organizing this months dinner and charitable partner. Could not have asked for a better night. Well done, fellas.

And a most heart-felt thank you to each and every member that is a part of what we do. Without you and your support, we would not be where we are. Love you guys.

If you would like to support and Pink Stem and students like Falyssa, you can make a donation here.

The Atlanta Guys Dinner Group is honored to be partnering up with “Pink Stem Atlanta” whose vision is to “empower and equip all girls to be catalysts in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) by breaking the status quo.”

This will be our 84th (official) partnership and we will be dining with our good friend Bobae Kim on Novembe 11th.

The AGDG is always accepting new members. We have an active roster of 138 gentlemen, we average 25-30 at our dinners with 4-5 new guys in attendance every other month. There are no dues, only the cost of your dinner and any donation you’d like to make to that months charitable partner/cause (never mandatory). Must have a good appetite and a community-driven heart! We are a very diverse group from all walks of life who come together to break bread and give back.

These twenty-seven guys (six new) showed up strong for as we broke bread at to support our veterans. What an incredible organization fighting the good fight to get veterans off the street and into their own homes. Had a nice little surprise visit from some heroes in Blackhawks. What a night.

This was our 83rd (official) partnership dinner, and I could not be more proud and honored to be surrounded by such an incredible group of guys every other month.
