Check out this awesome group of ladies! The National Antique Motorcycle Club is having its annual road rally in El Dorado this week and this group of ladies swung by to do a Paint With Alpacas event while their husbands were off riding. They were from all over including West Virginia, Wisconsin, Nebraska and right here in Kansas. Thanks for the visit and great jobs on the sunflowers!

Folks often ask what the inside of our 1976 Avion camper, aka the Atomic Tw***ie, looks like that we have parked at the farm. Here it is in all of its restored 47 year old glory.
This summer South Rock Christian Church included us, and a couple other farms, in their mission for VBS. They donated some awesome stuff to us including these two fantastic milking cows. We are very appreciative and they will definitely get some great use!
We hosted a group of travel writers from around the midwest for the 2023 Kansas Travel Media Event. They toured the farm and finished by Painting With Alpacas. The state of Kansas has some fantastic attractions and great folks promoting them. And thanks to Katrina and Chris from Peachy Farms Inc for lending a helping hand!
What an awesome night of painting with alpacas! The night finished with a full, super and blue moon rising over Lazy Moon Ranch. The next time this type of moon is expected will be in 2037. Thanks to everyone who joined us!

Our water lilies have done incredible this year.
Unfortunately, my pumpkin farming skills this year were off. For the first time in several years we won’t have pumpkins because I didn’t manage the w**d growth. The bright side is I didn’t screw up the sunflowers.

After their annual check-ups, Mama Oakley and her sweet boy, Moses, were referred to as being “very mellow” by the vet. However, little Chester was referred to as being “very spirited”🙄.

What a fantastic night for a Paint With Alpaca party! Thank you to everyone that came out for a full moon paint event. The moon didn’t rise until after 9:10 but it was still a beautiful evening. And the paintings turned out awesome!

For those of you that guessed that our new addition was a tortoise you were correct! Meet Bowser! He’s a 3 year old African Sulcata, or African Spurred, tortoise. While He’s very young Bowser may very easily live to be 100 years old or more and grow to be as large as 200 hundred pounds! We are super excited he’s making his new home with us and we hope that our grandkids, or maybe great grandkids, like tortoises!
They get so excited when I refill the pool.
