Kenyan recipe
Kangumu/shortbread cake

3 cups flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tbsp Vanilla sugar
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp powdered milk
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup cooking oil
Water for kneading
- In a bowl combine all of the dry ingredients and mix
- Add oil into the dry ingredients and mix well with your hands
- Then gradually add water and mix the dough till the dough combines. The dough shouldn’t be too stiff or too soft
- Roll the dough and cut it into a medium squares .
- In a very low heat add oil abd let the oil get warm then add the squares cut dough
- fry in a very low heat till golden brown
-Serve with tea and enjoy
