You heard us on Freakonomics Radio, you saw us on Kickstarter, and you dreamed of being one of the first to order a Ramen Now! While our initial campaign didn’t hit the goal, one amazing Freakonomics listener reached out asking to be our angel investor. With his support, we’ve been able to move from the dream to the reality!
You can now pre-order your Ramen Now! at our webstore, www.theramennow.com for $49.99. We are working with our manufacturer, who makes products for SharkNinja, to launch the tooling process this month. We plan for the first order production to start in February and ship just in time for graduation.
As we move in this direction, we also need to finalize our box art. For this, I am asking for your help. You can vote on two different design styles at the below link. We have the “fun” style and the “realistic” style. Please let us know what you think will help us get more noodle lovers their ramen….now!

Finally, you can get a sneak peak at our prototype in action at this link. These are photos of the testing process at the manufacturing facility. Please note that this is the rev1 prototype and not the final model. The manufacturer is also using a metal bowl for testing due to the challenges prototyping with glass.
