Join us and our friends this Sunday for the swirling launch of Bird-nado, a collaboration with the Travis Audubon Society! We are celebrating the mighty and beautiful Purple Martins, and the people who protect them year after year!

🐦‍⬛🌪️🍻 BIRD-NADO 🍻🌪️ 🐦‍⬛
5.3% abv - This is a simple Blonde Ale with a just touch of melon and stone fruit hop character. It’s crisp, easy, and a perfect for pairing for parking lot nado’s.

🪶 Bird Facts: Purple Martins raise their young in Central Texas every summer, but they can’t do it without our help. For thousands of years, Purple Martins nested in natural cavities and dead trees. Today, most nest only in human-supplied housing. Travis Audubon cares for over a dozen Purple Martin colonies across Austin. When you enjoy this beer, you’re supporting Travis Audubon’s efforts to provide safe and comfortable habitats for these beautiful and beneficial birds!

🌳 Travis Audubon staff and volunteers will be onsite to talk all things Purple Martin, along with merch, stickers, and coloring pages for the kiddos!

If you ever knew Kelly Link, you knew how much she adored live music and concert going with her closest friends and family.

One of the strongest women to ever grace our company, the sweetest of sweets, the absolute, absolute, Link to it all, the queen, and we mean THHHEEE QUEEN of ABW, KELLY LINK. Has left us with the heartbeat to laugh as loud as we want, to not take life so seriously, and to simply dance with somebody who loves youuuu!

***This Thursday July 16th, come out to either taproom, as any contribution towards any purchase of beer, food, or merch, will be giving 50% back directly to the Link family from both taprooms sales!

Kelly Link worked at Austin Beerworks for over a decade, and made about 1000+ people smile with her energy everyday throughout the year’s. She was always herself, authentic , sweet sweet sweet, wonderful, and always filled with a comprehension of joy that no normal person will ever understand. But we all got it, and we still do…if you didn’t know Kelly, from a room, a dance floor, office space, or table at taco flats over, she could naturally pull you into her energy, aurora, smile, and laugh. THAT LAUGHHH - Best laugh in the damn world, no competition - but if there was, Kelly would have let any other laugh win, even though her’s was always, and still is; the best on the planet.

Over her time at Austin Beerworks, Kelly dedicated herself to a job she loved, people she cared for like family, and has helped shaped the company into what we all love to love to this day. She’s a major reason we just celebrated 15 years of business (Kelly would laugh at that, and be like yah right losers, let’s get margs) But this company truly wouldn’t be what is today, without Kelly Link…and the rest of us beerworkers wouldn’t be the people we are without her either.

Here’s to you Kelly Link, and all these years, we’re so grateful, we found somebodyyy to love us. ❤

🍻 FRESH PINTS NOW OUT 🍻

🎲 Joey Vegas 🎲
West Coast IPA - 6.7% abv - A classic west coast IPA with a firm bitterness a touch of Munich and Carafoam malts for body and lots of El Dorado and Azacca Hops that will give a touch of fruitiness to help balance out those grapefruit notes and bitter components. And just for good measure we are adding some Citra in to help round it out. (Slide 1 w/ Efrem)

🗡️ Spanish Dagger 🗡️
Experimental Lager - 5.1 % abv - Being served on our side pull taps at both taprooms, this beer is an experimental version of Pearl-Snap where we dialed the dry hop way back. We are excited to see what direction this takes one of our classics, and will be a fun compare and contrast to the normal beer. (Slide 2 w/ Laura)

🇩🇪 Freysing 🇩🇪
Hefeweizen - 4.6% abv - A classic and simple Hefeweizen. Pilsner and Wheat malts will balance out the big banana characters from the yeast while just a touch of Saphir hops will help balance out all that perceived sweetness and yeast character. (Slide 3 w/ Sluggo)

🥥 Pina Colada 🥥
Cider - 6% abv - As we try to develop our cider program we are experimenting with some small batch keg only offerings. This sweet pint colada cider will take to the islands with aromas and flavors of white gummy bears. (Slide 4 w/ Sarah)
