Ivory Oak Farm + Soap Co.

Our fall soaps launch this week! My personal favorite is this Autumn Leaves goat milk soap. If you like On Guard or Thieves, this is the soap scent for you.

As always, our soaps are made with goat milk exclusively from our herd of pasture based & corn/soy/wheat free dairy goats, certified organic base oils, no palm oil, and only essential oils + herb/clay based colorants.

Local customers can find us this Saturday at the Fall into Shopping event at the Mower County Fairgrounds.

We will be at Rooted Flower Co. today for their Fall Fest! With the rain, there has been a slight change in time and the event will run from 2:30-5pm.

We will have baby goats there to pet and grain cups available for purchase for 50 cents to feed the goats.

Having our soaps out will be dependent on how the weather holds up- soap and water go together great but only when we want them to. 😉

Hope to see you there!

We have a couple fall soaps that are launching next week!

First up is the classic pumpkin spice. This goat milk soap contains real, organic pumpkin puree and is scented with a blend of sweet and spicy essential oils. It doesn’t smell like the typical pumpkin spice scents. Instead it smells like cinnamon, clove, and sweet orange.

We were pretty quiet on here all summer because we’ve been working on our newest farm addition! We’re adding a kid of our own to the herd, a baby boy, due next February. 💙

Now that I’m finally feeling better, we’ll resume sharing more soap content and farm happenings. 😊

It’s Market season! We will be at the Clear Lake Farmers Market once a month this summer on Saturdays from 9-12.

The daily move of our chicken tractor! This keeps the meat birds on fresh grass every day, fertilizes their pasture, and helps keep everything clean. Happy birds, healthy meat.

We had several goat deliveries on Saturday morning, one from a mama who was 8 days overdue and another from a mama who was 5 days overdue. Our goats usually kid 1-2 days plus or minus their due date, but every goat this year has been 3+ days over. 🗓️

Perhaps the biggest surprise of the weekend was that our nubian doe Penny, who I had bred to our Nubian buck Bo, had been keeping a secret for 5 months. 🤫

That secret was that (for the second time in a row) she managed to get herself bred to one of our Alpine bucks (the first time we’ve had a successful fenceline breeding). The color patterns, noses, and ears of the kids gave it away. 😐

I’ll have to wait another year for a potential Penny daughter… and work on some new fence lines so there are more barriers between fiesty goats. 😄

Yesterday’s spearmint lime soap pour is today’s goat milk soap bars: cut, stamped, and ready to cure. 🌿

We recently overhauled our website and updated our url to reflect our name change! Our previous url now forwards to our new site, and we have several soap scents back in stock.

Included in the restock is this sample pack! Mother’s Day is coming up soon and these make a practical and thoughtful gift. The 5 half bars include: Charcoal Tea Tree, Rosemary Grapefruit, Oatmeal Honey, Eucalyptus Mint, and Lavender (all of which are among our best sellers).
