A few announcements to changes in what services we offer.
First off, we are shifting away from doing custom haying. While we are still doing a few properties of custom work we will not be accepting anymore. However, we are interested in properties to lease as we are shifting to mainly square bale production.

The second change is we will no longer be doing firewood due to several reasons, but largest of which is the lack of a reliable source of trees.

Now for the third change!
We are now offering Skidsteer services!
Attached are pictures of a job we did today. This customer had issues with water pooling in front of and to the side of his shop building, causing flooding within his building. So we moved some dirt around, creating a swell for water to flow away from the building, and used the dirt to level off a rough part of his lawn!
For the first big dirt project with the skid steer, everything went really well!! We are excited for more projects!

We replaced the old, heavily rusted bed on the “red truck” with yet another C5 Manufacturing Southfork dumping flatbed! The first picture is before, the second picture is after.
If you are in the market for a new flat bed or bale bed there’s really no reason to look elsewhere in our opinion then C5. Out of all the beds our family has owned C5 beds have the best craftsmanship and the best paint durability out there. (The fact you no longer have to jack up and down trailers is a great plus to….)
If you can’t tell by the pictures we believe wholeheartedly in C5 beds. The far right bed is 5 years old and has been used hard and abused and still have the majority of the paint left on the bed which is not something that can be said of previous beds with not near the abuse.
I am not getting paid in anyway to say all this. When you produce a product of such high caliber one doesn’t need to be paid to say good things. Anytime we have had problems Corey has always done his best to fix the issues. So in conclusion, anytime we need a bed it’ll be C5 bed.

Now time to clean, service and store all the hay equipment and clean and service the tractors. Then to do a good amount of brush hogging and then start on firewood!

A new piece of equipment!!! Introducing our Norden Mfg AE10 10 bale edge accumulator and 510 grabber.
With this tool we will no longer have to accumulate after baling, the bales will be accumulated directly out of the baler, ready to load on the baler!!

The baler that started this entire custom hay journey has went onto its next home!
This is the first round baler I bought back in 2019 that got us into the world of custom hay. It served us well until we purchased a new baler in 2021, which then made this baler our backup.
I made the decision to sell it because I couldn’t stand to see it just sit in the barn when I knew it had much more service life in it. I’m happy to see it go to the people it did, and I know they will get many more years of service out of her.

The other 140 are in the barn for Hirsch Feed Ava!
I’m slowly dialing in and figuring things out this year, getting more done in less time. From being able to load by myself without touching very many bales, to getting 4 guys to help me at the barn and getting these 140 stacked in the barn in less then 20 minutes.
