It’s that time of year! I will be taking a load of 4 steers to the processor March 29th in Buffalo, Mo.

Please let me know if you would like to be put on the list for whole, half, or individual packages of ground beef. Deposit is required for wholes and halves. I will be setting aside a whole steer for ground beef this year to hopefully be able to get everyone what they’re needing.

Pricing will be as follows:

Whole: $5.00/lb hanging weight
Half: $5.10/lb hanging weight

Ground beef: $5.50/lb

It’s that time of year!

We will be taking a trailer load of steers to butcher September 23rd, 2022. The steers are grass fed/finished Black Angus. We are located in southwest, Missouri but available to anyone willing drive to pickup beef when it’s finished.

Beef will be sold in bulk as:
Whole - $4.40/lb. Hanging weight
Half - $4.50/lb. Hanging weight

In past years we have been getting hanging weights for whole beef anywhere between 500-600 lbs.

Also, let me know if you would like to reserve a whole or half, a small non-refundable deposit will be required to hold your spot, but will go towards your payment.

We will have 2 steers and 2 heifers ready for butcher in mid-summer 2020. The cattle are grass fed/finished Black Angus, and will weigh approximately 900-1100 lbs at butcher.

Pricing will be based off of hanging weight. Hanging weight is typically 59-62% of butcher weight.

1/4 or 1/2 beef - $4.15 per lb (hanging weight)
Whole beef - $4.00 per lb (hanging weight)
Plus processing fee
- Standard processing fee at Shrocks is $0.65 per lb of hanging weight (Specialized processing will vary).

We will deliver animal to processor. Shrocks Country Butchering(Buffalo, MO) is where we will typically take animals. If you prefer another processor we will discuss delivery and pricing.

Once you know you want a whole, half, or quarter beef I will set up delivery of the animal to butcher with the processor.
Exact orders on how you want animal butchered and pick up of finished product will be between you and processor.

I will also be keeping back a calf to sell individual steaks and ground beef out of, if you’re interesting in smaller quantities.
