Good morning everyone, Darren down here at One Man Band in Ava. I like to check in every now and then and get customer feed back. How has everything been? How’s the service? How’s the quality? How are the portions? To much seasoning or not enough? I like stuff well seasoned and I have a tendency to season things to my liking sometimes. Unfortunately not everyone likes it that way so I try to keep it moderate. Your feed back is important, your support and happiness is important. One Man Band wants to wish all the mothers out there a wonderful and happy Mothers Day with their loved ones. Thank you all for what you do and have done for us, as you carried us and raised us into the men or women we are or will be. We love you all and the things you do for us are always cherished and remembered. Especially my own mom Debbie Hendrix I truly, with all my heart appreciate the years you have watched over me,helped me and supported me regardless of what situations I went through, to become the man I am.

Hey everyone this is Darren from the One Man Band. So tonight I had a young lady come in and she was wanting 2 Philly burritos, unfortunately I was down to 1 tortilla. I had been busy all day and hadn’t had a chance to get away and go get more. She went ahead made her order and one her boys switched from the burrito to a Solo burger. After I served them their food she offered to go get me tortillas. I have been doing this for several years on and off and have never had someone do that for me. She came back with 2 big bags of tortillas and wouldn’t let me repay her for them. I want to give her a big thank you, as I don’t have permission I don’t want to say any names, but I wanted to share this moment with you all. There are still good people everywhere. You never know when you will meet them or what situation you will meet them in. This not only affected my day personally but from a business aspect as well that the people here in Ava where I grew up are still as considerate as when I was goofy kid in high school. Thank you again!!

Good morning everyone, due to personal health issues I will not be opening this morning. I will try and be open this afternoon but not 100% sure. I will keep everyone up to date on whether or not ill be open this afternoon. Either way I will be open the rest of week except Wednesday and Sunday as usual from 10am to 8pm. Thank you all and I apologize again for any inconvenience this may cause.

Good morning, I want to apologize, I will be opening later this morning. Unfortunately, I had to make a last minute trip to Springfield. I hope to be back between 12 and 1 and will be open until 8 PM. My hours for the rest of the week will be Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 10 AM to 8 PM.Thank you all and sorry for the inconvenience.
