Wearing (solely) the musician hat last night with 🎩🎻 at Hayfield House, where the first historic stairs were built (google it!) 🎶 One more concert and a masterclass to go!

The program included J. Montgomery’s “Strum”, Ginastera String Quartet No. 1, Piazzolla’s “Café 1930” & “Libertango”, and Brahms’ Piano Quintet in F minor.

What an interactive crowd we had! 😉 I got to talk about my tribute to Anna Magdalena (Bach’s second wife) and her set of Bach’s bowings for his cello Suites, the Baroque performance practice of the time (I had the Baroque bow with me), and of course, the Baroque tuning 🎻
