Long Farms is a family owned and operated farm which is currently raising it's 5th generation. The farm spans over several hundreds of acres and is quite diversified in nature. The farm produces cotton, peanuts, corn, hay, and beef cattle, along with a 100+ acre u-pick vegetable operation. The u-pick is opened seasonally. Spring Season typically starts mid May and runs to mid July. Fall Season sta
rts the beginning of September and typically runs to Thanksgiving. Over 30 different varieties of fruits and vegetables are grown on location, accessible to the public for picking. There is also selections of fresh from the field produce up at the barn for those not interested, or unable, to pick. All u-pick items are sold by the 5 gallon bucket (buckets are supplied for use). Mix vegetable buckets permitted. The u-pick serves as a great source for farm fresh produce for people from all walks of life. Whether you are a canner/preserver looking for abundant fresh veggies to can or a parent/adult wanting to see and know where your food is coming from, Long Farms is the place for you.
