We only order peonies in to the farm at Mother’s Day and Daniel always sends us the most delectable, swoon worthy peonies. You will only find the peonies in our xlg deluxe arrangements ( https://square.link/u/1mhtz4wv?src=sheet ) and there are just 7 left 😘

We are almost finished harvesting and processing for Mother’s Day :) florist orders go out today and pre-orders and pick up orders will be ready Friday and Saturday :)

So this just happened! We are reloaded into the other van and on the way to We should be there with gorgeous flowers by 10 at the latest 😘

A lot of times, flower farming has nothing to do with growing flowers. Clay dug and built the French drain and put the sink up on the concrete blocks before he had to go out of town on a work trip. I told him my idea for drainage til he got home to do it right. He told me to try it. It didn’t work 🤔 so Alyssa and I brain stormed. There were a lot of “what do think about” what if we” “okay, hear me out” “do you know where this tool is” “how can we make this work”. After about an hour of trying multiple ideas, we found a piece to work in the old little greenhouse and promptly broke it while we were trying to remove it without disturbing the wasp 😬 BUT we did it! We now have one working sink and after this weekend all three compartments will drain! I just have to remember to put the purple stuff on first and then the stuff from the other can.

We grow LxA lilies all year long. We get a crate of 400 bulbs every two weeks from which plant into bulb crates and grow in our hoophouse or under shade during the hottest months of the year. We harvest from just barely showing color to open depending on who we are growing for or what the intended use is. They are harvested every couple of days and stripped and put into 5 gallon buckets in our floral cooler to hydrate before being sent to their final destination. How many did I harvest? I’ll let you know in the comments when I’ve finished processing them.
