The first batch of 2026 chicks is now 18 weeks old today. Their red combs and wattles are a sign that their first eggs will be arriving soon. Most chickens begin laying around 20 weeks, but each breed is different.

Here’s Crazy Minnie Bo Bo, Stormy, and Sprinkles of Pickles cleaning up some chicken treats from my hand.

Llamas communicate with each other through a series of hums. They can convey a wide variety of emotions depending on the situation and the tone of the hum.

Here is Jane during a recent halter training session. She’s humming to her mom, MaryNell who is nearby for support until Jane gains more confidence.

Winter Tulip Subscriptions 2026-2027

Looking forward to another year filled with fresh tulip blooms! Although it's still summer, I'm currently planning my winter growing season and looking for input on what you would like to see in this year's subscriptions.

-Would you prefer tulip pickups every 2, 3, or 4 weeks?
-Or Single purchase with weekly availability?
-More Glens Falls or Saratoga locations?
-What day of the week/time of day works best for pickup?

I'll also be opening subscriptions earlier this year to allow purchases for holiday gifts.

Baby llamas Jane (7 weeks old) and Daisy (9 weeks old) enjoying a cooler evening tonight. They’re still in the maternity barn with the mothers until about 6 months old when they’ll be weaned.

They’re very curious at this age. You can hear another cria sniffing my phone during the video.

The last of the 2026 chicks now have names! This has been so fun, I might need to hatch more just so we can get more names.

Many people ask me why I don’t have flowers available year round.

I have run out of space and I’m currently looking for a farm in the Ballston Spa, NY area which will allow me to grow more. If you know anyone that is interested in selling land or a farm in the Ballston area please contact me so I can have more space for growing year round flowers.
